The official PMP 450 Ordering Guide Cambium Networks, ©2013, ACPSSW-09B is listed in the Power Supply RM section. The table refers to the equipment described therein and not automatically to any Canopy.

For a detached PMP 450 AP, this manual calls ACPSSW-20A and ACPSSW-21B. The separation in this document does not replace the verification of older APs of other generations.

Before the quotation, three designations are compared: the code of the connected device, the code of the installed source and the code of the proposed replacement. The photo of the case is convenient for searching, but the readable label and the applicable instructions help to coordinate the electrical parameters. If the old statement says only “Canopy PoE 24V”, add the full label: a short description should not replace the data of the selected configuration.

Why RJ45 is not enough

For the described RM The manufacturer specifies non-standard power supply through Ethernet junction Cat5e/RJ45. Therefore, the shape of the connector itself does not confirm electrical compliance.

In the application, divide the connector, port purpose and power supply requirements. To replace the previously agreed ACPSSW-09B, attach the current module designation, photos of the old unit, and a list of parts that remain on the facility. In the quotation, fix the code of the new copy, its condition, accessories and purpose. You need to compare the kit as a whole: buying an adapter without the necessary cable node can leave the application unfinished.

If the exact configuration is not in the quotation and another source is considered, request it in a separate line. The comparison should show the voltage, the required power, the method of power supply, the interface and the set of connections for the specified apparatus. The other product is agreed as a replacement with its own documentation. A higher power figure or familiar housing does not replace such a comparison.

What to include in the power supply package

It is convenient to make a statement before asking for a price. For each item, mark: Save on site, include in delivery, or verify applicability. Then the quotation on the source and quotation on the full set can be compared on the same lines.

Separately describe the boundary of procurement: only hardware delivery or also inspection and work at the facility. Specify the number of sources and specific points of receipt.
