Satellite equipment and kits

Describe the existing local area network and its responsibilities. Satellite equipment is selected together with the conditions of connection to the operator’s network; the local radio bridge and the external satellite channel solve different tasks.

For a remote site near Ust-Kut on the Lena or a repair base in Sovetskaya Gavan, describe how the satellite link will connect to the existing LAN: router, addressing, configuration responsibility and required services. Show the inter-building radio bridge and the external operator link as separate sections of the diagram. For a vessel in the Tatar Strait, also provide its route, antenna location and cable-routing conditions. Record the delivery city, equipment list and service activation separately; coverage must be agreed for the actual route.

Ground VSAT-station offer a single set of six positions, marine VSAT – set of antenna and modem. Tariff and connection are agreed separately.
